Anthony Masi has written, developed, directed and produced content for Starz, the CW Network/CBS Studios, Anchor Bay Entertainment, Lionsgate, FEARnet, National Cinemedia, the Shout Factory and Miramax. He is the producer of the horror genre’s most successful epic cinematic television, DVD and Blu-ray retrospectives, including HALLOWEEN: 25 Years of Terror, HIS NAME WAS JASON: 30 Years of Friday the 13th, and STILL SCREAMING: The Ultimate Scary Movie Retrospective.

Currently, Anthony is co-producing a reboot of the 1984 controversial horror classic, SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT with Wonderwheel Entertainment and Orwo Studios/Black Hangar UK for a 2022 release. He is also produced the feature documentary, UNKNOWN DIMENSION: The Story of Paranormal Activity for Paramount Pictures, which was released on Paramount+ in October 2022.
 
Anthony also produced and directed the 2014 television countdown, THE 50 BEST HORROR MOVIES YOU’VE NEVER SEEN, co-produced the horror film BREAD CRUMBS, and wrote and directed the theatrically-released HALLOWEEN: The Shape of Horror.
 
Known as a horror genre expert, he has appeared as an interviewee in A&E’s “HALLOWEEN: The Inside Story,” alongside the likes of Jamie Lee Curtis and John Carpenter, and in the forthcoming Season 3 of "Eli Roth's History of Horror" on AMC.

Anthony co-hosts a podcast called Producerville, which is the only podcast that focuses solely on film producing. Interviewees include the producers of such movies as The Babadook, The Blair Witch Project, and Open Water, and each episode is a treasure trove of valuable information to help budding producers become better producers.

In 2018, Anthony developed THE BLACK ROSE ANTHOLOGY with Drew Barrymore’s company, Flower Films, for the CW Network (CBS Studios).
 
Anthony is also a professional magician and has produced a six-volume instructional course called the “Black Rabbit Magic Series” which features some of the most successful practitioners in the art of magic, with three of the titles landing on “Best Of” lists for years 2014 and 2015 in major magic publications. Anthony has also performed his original magic on national television, most recently on the CW network’s highly popular PENN & TELLER: FOOL US, under the name Anthony Asimov.
